I’ve always ate them with country gravy. ( white peppered biscuit gravy. I’m almost 60 my dad’s family was from Texas not far from Dallas Fort Worth area. Back in the 1960’s we would go to the stock yard and eat them at the restaraunt which was so fresh we ate bull nuts and a hige fresh T-bone steak
The nuts always we’re served with cream gravy
