Located in the heart of Southeast Kansas, Schenker Family Farms is a multi-generation working farm.  Our commitment to our heritage is strong, but not as strong as the commitment to our family and our faith. 

Our Commitment to the Land & Our Animals

The Schenker Family is committed to being good stewards of the land and the bounty it provides. All animals are allowed to graze freely on several hundred acres of prairie and other specialty grasses. In the winter, the animals are fed hay made from native grasses. They have access to mineral supplements and fresh, clean water year-round to maintain good health.

We believe that it is our duty to provide a stress-free, humane, environment for the animals we raise. 

Our Farm is a Naturally Grown farm. This means that we DO NOT use chemical pesticides or herbicides. In addition, routine use of antibiotics, steroids and growth hormones is prohibited.
